Pharmacy Technician

About the role

VytlOne is recruiting for a full-time LA Registered Pharmacy Technician in Lutcher, LA. This position is ideal for an experienced pharmacy technician who enjoys interacting with patients and wants to expand their career in pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate claims and fill prescriptions efficiently
• Evaluate written prescriptions or refill requests for completeness and accuracy
• Record medical histories while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with HIPPA regulations
• Deliver quality customer service to patients, addressing inquiries, questions, or requests
• Select and count appropriate medications, create pharmacy labels, and place completed prescriptions in the area for verification by the pharmacist
• Participate in inventory audits and purchasing of medications and pharmacy supplies

Requirements

• A valid LA state registered pharmacy technician license
• Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred
• In good standing with the Louisiana state pharmacy board
• Two or more years of pharmacy technician experience preferred
• A passion for outstanding customer service, professionalism, and teamwork
• Strong communication skills
