Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customers/employees receive fair and ethical treatment.
• Treat customers/employees with respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
• Offer health and wellness services relevant to patients as allowed by law.
• Handle confidential information with care.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations.
• Report illegal activity.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Manage inventory and maintain departmental standards.
• Perform billing procedures accurately.
• Answer phone calls and triage inquiries.
• Process vendor coupons and accept tendered payments.
• Operate cash registers and handle electronic fund transactions.
• Support pharmacists in their responsibilities.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• Manage conflict in a non-confrontational manner.
• Work cooperatively in high-paced and sometimes stressful environments.
• Support minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Age 18 or older
• Ability to handle highly confidential information
• Meet minimum state requirements for the position

Desired

• Previous comparable experience
• EPRN familiarity
• Understanding of computerized inventory management
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations
• Experience with cash register operations
• Ability to work with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
