Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customers/employees receive fair and ethical treatment.
- Treat customers/employees with respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
- Offer health and wellness services relevant to patients as allowed by law.
- Handle confidential information with care.
- Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations.
- Report illegal activity.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Manage inventory and maintain departmental standards.
- Perform billing procedures accurately.
- Answer phone calls and triage inquiries.
- Process vendor coupons and accept tendered payments.
- Operate cash registers and handle electronic fund transactions.
- Support pharmacists in their responsibilities.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Manage conflict in a non-confrontational manner.
- Work cooperatively in high-paced and sometimes stressful environments.
- Support minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Age 18 or older
- Ability to handle highly confidential information
- Meet minimum state requirements for the position
Desired
- Previous comparable experience
- EPRN familiarity
- Understanding of computerized inventory management
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations
- Experience with cash register operations
- Ability to work with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
