About the role

As a Part-Time Pharmacy Technician at Southwest Health System, Inc., your day-to-day responsibilities will be both engaging and rewarding. You'll assist pharmacists with prescription filling, ensuring accuracy and safety in every step. You'll interact with patients and healthcare professionals, providing compassionate customer service as you address inquiries and guide individuals through their medication needs. You'll also maintain organized records, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with safety regulations, all while working in a collaborative team environment. Your typical schedule will fall within the Day Shift, allowing for a balanced work-life routine.

Responsibilities

  • Assist pharmacists with prescription filling, ensuring accuracy and safety.
  • Interact with patients and healthcare professionals to provide compassionate customer service.
  • Maintain organized records and manage inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Education in all age groups ranging from newborn to the geriatric population obtained either in school education, experience, or subsequent training.
  • Current Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.

Pay

Competitive pay range of $19.77 to $27.81 per hour.
