Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities

• Prepares routine medications for dispensing under the supervision of a pharmacist.
• Receives and processes written and electronic prescriptions and refill requests.
• Enters prescription information into the Pioneer RX system accurately and in a timely manner.
• Stocks, organizes, and takes inventory of prescription and over-the-counter medications.
• Maintains cleanliness and order in the pharmacy area.
• Supports onboarding and training of new pharmacy staff.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensed Pharmacy Technician or eligibility to become licensed after training period (required).
• Working knowledge of pharmacy systems and basic computer skills required.
