Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by treating customers/employees fairly and ethically, ensuring a safe and clean environment, and acting responsibly in the community.
• Offer health and wellness services relevant to patients as allowed by law.
• Interact directly with patients to deliver health and wellness services.
• Handle confidential information with care.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, reporting illegal activities.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and safety guidelines.
• Manage inventory and ordering processes.
• Perform billing procedures accurately.
• Answer phones and triage calls, providing appropriate responses.
• Process vendor coupons and adhere to company guidelines on cash shortages and shrinkage.
• Operate cash registers and handle various payment methods.
• Accurately complete reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing tasks.
• Support pharmacists in their responsibilities.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and company policies.
• Manage conflict in a non-confrontational manner.
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• Support and assist customers, including those with special needs and older adults.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Age 18 or older
• Ability to handle highly confidential information
• Meet minimum state requirements for the position

Desired

• Previous comparable experience
• EPRN familiarity
• Understanding of computerized inventory management
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations
• Experience with cash register operations
• Ability to interact with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
