Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient intervention by offering health and wellness services and experiences relevant to the patient as allowed by and consistent with state and federal laws.
• Handle highly confidential information with care.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, reporting all illegal activities.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and safety guidelines.
• Manage inventory and ordering processes.
• Accurately complete billing procedures and maintain departmental standards.
• Communicate effectively with customers, triaging calls and answering inquiries.
• Operate cash registers and handle various payment methods.
• Support pharmacists in their responsibilities.
• Participate in company health and wellness initiatives.
• Work cooperatively in high-paced and sometimes stressful environments.
• Resolve customer and business issues with honesty and integrity.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Age 18 or older
• Ability to handle confidential information
• Meet minimum state requirements for the position

Desired

• Previous comparable experience
• EPRN familiarity
• Understanding and following company guidelines on computerized inventory management
• Understanding and adhering to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations
• Managing conflict in a reasonable, non-confrontational, and cooperative manner
• Working cooperatively in high-paced and sometimes stressful environments
• Providing support and assistance through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and/or older adults
• Able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
