A Day in the Life

As a Pharmacy Technician, you have the opportunity to be a part of something bigger. You will be a member of a team supporting our pharmacies, pharmacists, and communities. You create an easy, friendly, and exciting pharmacy experience for your patients. You make our pharmacy a great place for your friends, family, and neighbors to get their prescriptions.

Responsibilities

• Create an easy, friendly, and exciting pharmacy experience for patients
• Support pharmacists and other pharmacy staff
• Prepare medications according to prescriptions
• Assist patients with their medication questions and concerns
• Manage inventory and maintain accurate records
• Perform routine tasks such as restocking shelves and cleaning equipment
• Provide immunizations where allowed by law

• Have or be willing to obtain proper licenses (where required by local state requirements)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must pass a background check
• Must pass a drug test

Skills

• Attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, pharmacy software)
