Responsibilities
- Provide pharmaceutical support to patients and healthcare providers
- Assist with medication preparation and distribution
- Ensure accurate inventory management and record keeping
- Adhere to all safety and regulatory standards
Requirements
- Graduate from a formal pharmacy technician program accredited by ASHP or a similar program
- Certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
- One year of experience as a pharmacy technician after graduation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Proficient in computer systems
- Knowledge of pharmacy practices and regulations
- Attention to detail
