Pharmacy Technician

A Day in the Life

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will support our pharmacies, pharmacists, and communities. You will create an easy, friendly, and exciting pharmacy experience for your patients. You will also have the opportunity to promote and provide immunizations (where allowed by law).

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacists and other pharmacy staff in providing patient care
• Create and maintain accurate medication records
• Assist with inventory management and restocking
• Prepare medications according to prescription orders
• Communicate with patients about their medications and treatment plans
• Handle cash transactions and manage pharmacy supplies
• Provide immunizations (where allowed by law)

Requirements

• Must have or be willing to obtain proper licenses (where required by local state requirements)
• Fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Some states require a pharmacy technician certification
