Pharmacy Technician

A Day in the Life

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will support our pharmacies, pharmacists, and communities. You will create an easy, friendly, and exciting pharmacy experience for your patients. You will also have the opportunity to promote and provide immunizations (where allowed by law).

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacists and other pharmacy staff in providing quality patient care.
• Prepare medications according to prescriptions and safety guidelines.
• Assist patients with filling out paperwork and answering questions about medications.
• Ensure accurate inventory management and restocking of supplies.
• Provide immunizations where permitted by law.

Requirements

• Must have or be willing to obtain proper licenses (where required by local state requirements).
• Fast-paced environment tolerance.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and ability to interact with a variety of people.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a pharmacy technician program or equivalent experience.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Knowledge of pharmaceuticals and medical terminology.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
