Pharmacy Technician

About the role

The Ambulatory Pharmacy Technician supports the practice of Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacist by handling appointments, gathering and documenting patient information through interviews, and administering vaccines when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Handle patient appointments and gather necessary information.
• Document patient information accurately and efficiently.
• Support the administration of vaccines as per scope of practice.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient care.

Requirements

• H.S. Diploma or GED.
• Washington Pharmacy Technician License upon hire.
• National Certified Pharmacy Technician certification within 2 years of hire if applicable.
• 1 year - Pharmacy Technician experience if PTCB certified, 2 years if not.

Qualifications

• Coursework/Training - Pharmacy technician program (may be required in some states).
• 1 year - Customer Service experience.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay

The base pay range for this position is $23.81 - $36.44 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Schedule

This role is full-time and operates on a day shift schedule.
