Responsibilities

  • Ensure all medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met for patients.
  • Demonstrate ethical conduct and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Manage pharmacy workstations and tasks to support the team’s ability to fill prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide caring service that exceeds customer expectations.
  • Complete an extensive CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program and satisfy all state-specific registration, licensing, and certification requirements.
  • Expand duties as you meet requirements and build clinical, technical, and insurance knowledge through available tools and training.

Requirements

  • Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education, and licensure/certification.
  • If the state board of pharmacy does not mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age.
  • If the state board of pharmacy does not mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or a high school equivalency program.

Physical Demands

  • Remaining upright on your feet for sustained periods.
  • Moving about to accomplish tasks, including moving between work areas.
  • Using fingers for tasks such as typing, picking, or pinching.
  • Extending hands and arms in any direction.
  • Bending, stooping, and using lower extremities and back muscles.
  • Expressing or exchanging ideas through spoken word with accuracy.
  • Perceiving sounds at normal speaking levels and receiving detailed information orally.
  • Visual Acuity: Close visual acuity for activities like transcribing, reading, and inspecting small parts.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs; exerting force occasionally (up to 30 lbs) and frequently (up to 10 lbs).

Qualifications

  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
    • Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
    • PTCB National Certification.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Pay

The typical pay range for this role is $17.92 - $27.92 per hour. The actual base salary offer will depend on factors such as experience, education, geography, and other relevant considerations.

Schedule

This is a part-time position with an anticipated weekly schedule of 25 hours.
