Responsibilities

• Comply with local, state, and federal regulations; report illegal activities
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and safety regulations
• Manage inventory and order products according to company guidelines
• Perform billing procedures accurately
• Handle phone calls and triage inquiries
• Adhere to guidelines on accepting and tendering vendor coupons and managing cash shortages
• Operate cash registers and handle electronic fund transactions
• Provide a positive customer experience
• Assist pharmacists in their responsibilities
• Follow HIPAA regulations and company policies
• Support health and wellness initiatives
• Manage legend orders, including Central Fill deliveries
• Work in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment
• Resolve conflicts in a non-confrontational manner
• Handle confidential information with honesty and integrity
• Communicate effectively with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• Confidentiality of information
• Experience in a comparable pharmacy setting
• Familiarity with EPRN (Electronic Prescription Record Network)
