Pharmacy Technician

A Day in the Life

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will support our pharmacies, pharmacists, and communities. You will create an easy, friendly, and exciting pharmacy experience for your patients. You will also have the opportunity to promote and provide immunizations (where allowed by law).

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacists and other pharmacy staff in providing patient care
• Create and maintain accurate medication records
• Assist with inventory management and restocking
• Prepare medications according to prescription orders
• Provide customer service and answer questions about medications
• Administer immunizations where permitted by law

Requirements

• Must have or be willing to obtain proper licenses (where required by local state requirements)
• Fast-paced environment tolerance
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Positive attitude and ability to interact with customers and colleagues

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a pharmacy technician training program
• Knowledge of pharmacy operations and procedures
