A Day in the Life

As a Pharmacy Technician, you have the opportunity to be a part of something bigger. You will be a member of a team supporting our pharmacies, pharmacists, and communities. You create an easy, friendly, and exciting pharmacy experience for your patients. You make our pharmacy a great place for your friends, family, and neighbors to get their prescriptions.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain accurate records of patient prescriptions and medication histories
• Assist pharmacists with compounding medications as needed
• Prepare medications according to prescription orders and safety guidelines
• Answer patient questions about medications and provide medication counseling
• Handle cash transactions and manage inventory
• Ensure the pharmacy environment is clean and organized
• Support the promotion and provision of immunizations (where allowed by law)

• Must have or be willing to obtain proper licenses (where required by local state requirements)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a pharmacy technician training program
• Knowledge of pharmacy operations and regulations
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
