Pharmacy Technician

Role Overview This position involves performing essential duties of a pharmacy technician, including filling physician medication orders under supervision, providing client service, and demonstrating advanced skills in specialty areas such as immunization and medication therapy management (MTM). The technician must hold a valid Montana pharmacy technician license, temporary permit, or provisional license upon hire, with at least one year of pharmacy practice and customer service experience. Internal candidates should be competent in all associate technician responsibilities. Preferred qualifications include completion of a pharmacy technician training program. Key Responsibilities Fill and process medication orders accurately under pharmacist supervision.Engage with patients and healthcare providers to meet pharmacy needs.Apply advanced knowledge and certifications in specialty areas.Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and procedures.
