Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE) outpatient Pharmacy Technician primarily working at our Winona Campus pharmacy. This position will require floating to La Crosse/Onalaska/Holmen/West Salem pharmacy locations based on workload and volume within the Winona Campus. What You’ll Do Enjoy flexible scheduling options for day and evening shifts with rotating weekendsEnter prescription data, calculate dispensing quantities, prepare medication labels and fill prescriptions Compound non-sterile products and manage inventory needsPrepare prescriptions for delivery or shipmentAnswer the telephone and respond to patient inquiriesAssist with staffing at other Gundersen pharmacy locations as needed What You’ll Get Hourly wage: $19.05 + more based on experience, plus extra for evening, weekend and holiday shifts!Reimbursed for millage for travel to any other pharmacy locations besides Winona Campus Pharmacy; all travel time to other pharmacy locations will be considered travel & will be compensated.Competitive benefits package, including our top-rated retirement planProfessional development support, including up to $3,000 per year in tuition reimbursement, financial support for advanced training and certification programs, extensive internal courses, and access to Gundersen’s Career Development Center What You’ll Need High school diploma or equivalencyRegistered in Minnesota as a pharmacy technician at time of hire (MNRPhT); must be registered in Wisconsin as a pharmacy technician (WIRPhT) within 3 months of hire.Nationally-recognized certification for pharmacy technician credential (CPht or ExCPT) or willingness to become certified within 12 months of hire Emplify Health, a partnership of Bellin Health and Gundersen Health System, is a leading not-for-profit, patient-centered healthcare network based in Green Bay and La Crosse, Wisconsin.
