About the role

Fry’s Food Stores, now part of The Kroger Company, seeks a dedicated individual to join our team as a Pharmacy Assistant. This position involves providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment, and adhering to regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Comply with local, state, and federal regulations; report illegal activity
• Follow and enforce food safety, sanitation, and safety regulations
• Manage inventory and order products according to company guidelines
• Perform billing procedures accurately and efficiently
• Handle phone calls and triage inquiries
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies
• Support health and wellness initiatives
• Manage inventory and fulfill legend orders
• Work in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment
• Resolve conflicts in a non-confrontational manner
• Act with honesty and integrity
• Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Age 18 or older
• Confidentiality of information
• Desired: Previous comparable experience, EPRN familiarity
