Pharmacy Technician

About the role

The primary responsibility of this position is to assist pharmacists in providing quality pharmaceutical care to patients within a closed-door pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with medication preparation and dispensing
• Manage inventory and maintain accurate records
• Provide patient education on medications and dosing instructions
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current certification as a pharmacy technician
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy preferred
• Experience in a similar role

Skills

• Proficient in computer systems used in pharmacies
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
