Pharmacy Technician

Job Purpose and Summary

We help our Pharmacists manage and improve patient health by following company SOPs at each workstation. You'll support the pharmacy team in fulfilling prescriptions safely and accurately, and provide compassionate care to patients.

Required Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements regarding age, education, and licensure/certification.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Essential Functions

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Concentrate on tasks over long periods and pivot quickly between tasks.
• Confirm prescription information and label accuracy.
• Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Perform mathematical reasoning and problem resolution.
• Perform physical demands, including lifting up to 20 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
• Ability to work in the home store and across the market in other locations.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is $17.00 - $27.00. Actual pay will depend on experience, education, and other relevant factors.
