Pharmacy Technician

At CVS Health, you'll be part of a team dedicated to simplifying health care. You'll help customers navigate the health care system and support the pharmacy team to deliver exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Leverage company SOPs to support the pharmacy team in fulfilling prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Engage with patients to provide personalized care and answer their health-related questions.
• Contribute to a safe and inclusive environment by maintaining inventory and handling immunizations as needed.
• Support offsite clinics and other patient health care services as permitted by law and training.
• Complete required training and maintain certifications to administer vaccines and monitor adverse reactions.

Requirements

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements regarding age, education, and licensure/certification.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in a high school equivalency program.
• Must pass state-level licensure and national certification requirements.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs and perform tasks requiring mobility, reaching, bending, and lifting.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of previous pharmacy technician experience.
• Experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
• Ability to work in the home store and across the market to meet business needs.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail and focus.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and pivot quickly.
• Knowledge of pharmacology and pharmacy operations.
