Pharmacy Technician

Job Purpose and Summary

We help people navigate the health care system and their personal health care by improving access, lowering costs, and being a trusted partner for every meaningful moment of health. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will support the pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence within your store.

Responsibilities

• Follow all company SOPs at each workstation to help our Pharmacists manage and improve patient health
• Support the pharmacy team in safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
• Show empathy and genuine care while serving patients at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone
• Complete basic inventory activities as permitted by law
• Contribute to a high-performing team, embrace a growth mindset, and seek opportunities to expand clinical and technical knowledge
• Support additional patient health care services like immunizations, point-of-care testing, and offsite clinic staffing
• Support immunizations by completing additional licensure and training requirements, educating patients, monitoring adverse reactions, and managing vaccine supplies

Requirements

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy
• Must be at least 16 years old or have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
• Must have state-level licensure and national certification requirements, which vary by state

Qualifications

• Must have 1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
• Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting preferred
• Ability to work in the home store and across the market in other locations to meet business needs

Pay

The typical pay range for this role is $17.00 - $27.00. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
