Pharmacy Technician

Job Purpose and Summary

We help our Pharmacists manage and improve patient health by following company SOPs at each workstation. You'll support the pharmacy team in fulfilling prescriptions safely and accurately, providing compassionate care, and contributing to a high-performing team.

Responsibilities

• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation
• Support the pharmacy team in fulfilling prescriptions safely and accurately
• Show empathy and provide personalized care to patients
• Complete basic inventory activities as permitted by law
• Support immunizations and other patient health care services as allowed by law and supported by required training and certification

Requirements

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
• Must have the ability to complete required training within a designated timeframe

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old
• Must have the ability to lift up to 20 lbs and/or exert up to 20 lbs of force
• Must have the ability to lift and/or exert up to 10 lbs and/or up to 10 lbs of force
• Must have the ability to lift and/or exert a negligible amount of force to move objects

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
• Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
• Ability to work in the home store and across the market in other locations to meet business needs
