Pharmacy Technician

Job Purpose and Summary

We help our Pharmacists manage and improve patient health by following company SOPs at each workstation. You'll support the pharmacy team in fulfilling prescriptions safely and accurately, and provide compassionate care to patients.

Required Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements regarding age, education, and licensure/certification.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program.
• Must complete required training within designated timeframe.

Essential Functions

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Concentrate on tasks over long periods.
• Confirm prescription information and label accuracy.
• Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Use math to solve problems related to prescription filling.
• Resolve challenging patient or colleague interactions.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting and reaching.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
• Ability to work in the home store and across the market.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is $16.00 - $24.00 per hour. Actual pay will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, and location.
