Job Purpose and Summary
We help people navigate the health care system and their personal health care by improving access, lowering costs, and being a trusted partner for every meaningful moment of health. Pharmacy Technicians play a critical role in supporting our pharmacy teams to consistently deliver on our brand promise.
Responsibilities
- Follow all company SOPs at each workstation to help our Pharmacists manage and improve patient health
- Support the pharmacy team in fulfilling prescriptions safely and accurately
- Show empathy and provide personalized care at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone
- Contribute to positive patient experiences by offering immunizations and other services
- Complete basic inventory activities as permitted by law
- Support the team by remaining flexible for scheduling and business needs
- Support additional patient health care services, including immunizations, point-of-care testing, and offsite clinics
- Comply with state board of pharmacy requirements and laws governing the practice of pharmacy
Requirements
- Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
- Must complete required training within designated timeframe
- Must have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
- Must have attention and focus, and ability to communicate effectively
- Must have physical capabilities to lift and move items as needed
Qualifications
- Must have 1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Preferred previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
- Must be able to work in the home store and across the market in other locations to meet business needs
Pay
The typical pay range for this role is $16.50 - $25.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
