Pharmacy Technician

Job Purpose and Summary

We help our Pharmacists manage and improve patient health by following company SOPs at each workstation. You'll support the pharmacy team in fulfilling prescriptions safely and accurately, and provide compassionate care. You'll also contribute to a high-performing team, embrace a growth mindset, and be flexible for business needs.

Required Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• If state board of pharmacy does not address minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years old.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program.
• Must satisfy all registration, licensing, and certification requirements according to State's Board of Pharmacy guidelines.

Essential Functions

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Concentrate on a task over a period of time.
• Pivot quickly from one task to another to meet patient and business needs.
• Confirm prescription information and label accuracy, ensuring patient safety.
• Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Solve or escalate patient problems.
• Manage inventory activities, as permitted by law.
• Support immunizations, including completing additional licensure and training requirements, educating patients, monitoring for adverse reactions, and reviewing and collecting patient information.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
• Ability to work in the home store and across the market in other locations to meet business needs.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is $16.00 - $24.00. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
