About the role

Clinch Valley Health, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician who will help make communities healthier. In this position you will use your skills, compassion, and dedication to support patient care and improve the lives of those we serve.

Responsibilities

• Refill and maintain automated dispensing systems.
• Fill medication carts daily.
• Prepare orders and maintain pharmacy inventory.
• Repackage bulk medications as needed.
• Compound sterile and hazardous products per established procedures.
• Manage drug inventory, including purchases, returns, restocking, stock rotation, backorders, recalls, shortages, and loan/borrow processes.
• Participate in performance improvement and required education.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma (preferred).
• Registered with the state board of pharmacy.
• PTCB certification.

Pay

Hourly range: $16.00 – $19.99
