Pharmacy Technician

About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, exceptional customer service, and prior experience working in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive written and faxed prescriptions from patients and doctor’s offices, verify accuracy, and input information into the system
• Maintain proper storage and inventory of all medications in the pharmacy
• Receive incoming inventory, verify accuracy, log it in the system, and put it away
• Maintain pharmacy records, including patient profiles and inventory logs
• Accept payment for prescriptions and small transactions
• Answer phones and handle customer inquiries, referring to the pharmacist as needed

Requirements

• Pharmacy Technician License (required)
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Familiarity with pharmacy and medical terminology (desired)
• Able to commute (own car required)

Preferred Skills

• Spanish speaking
• Proficient in technology
• Team player with strong customer service orientation

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, up to 40 hours weekly
• Saturdays 10 a.m.–3 p.m.
• Full-time or part-time; weekend availability preferred

Pay

$16–22 hourly, bi-weekly pay
