Responsibilities
- Support pharmacy operations by assisting the pharmacist in delivering accurate and timely medication services.
- Manage automated dispensing systems to ensure essential medications are always available for patient care.
- Maintain pharmacy inventory levels to support uninterrupted service for our patients and care teams.
- Facilitate clear communication between patients, care teams, and pharmacy staff to provide timely information.
- Organize medication supplies to ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained pharmacy workspace.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration: One or more of the following required:
- Licensed Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Pharmacy Intern obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Additional Preferences
- Minimum of 1 Year Retail Experience Required
