Pharmacy Technician

A Day in the Life

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will support our pharmacies, pharmacists, and communities. You will create an easy, friendly, and exciting pharmacy experience for your patients. You will also have the opportunity to promote and provide immunizations (where allowed by law).

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain accurate patient records
• Prepare medications according to prescriptions and safety guidelines
• Assist pharmacists during consultations and medication reviews
• Answer patient inquiries about medications and health concerns
• Manage inventory and restock supplies
• Handle cash transactions and ensure financial accuracy
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be able to obtain proper licenses (where required by local state requirements)

Skills

• Knowledge of pharmacy operations and regulations
• Proficiency in using pharmacy computer systems
