A Day in the Life

As a Pharmacy Technician, you have the opportunity to be a part of something bigger. You will be a member of a team supporting our pharmacies, pharmacists, and communities. You create an easy, friendly, and exciting pharmacy experience for your patients. You make our pharmacy a great place for your friends, family, and neighbors to get their prescriptions.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacists and other pharmacy staff in providing quality patient care
• Create an easy, friendly, and exciting pharmacy experience for patients
• Prepare medications according to prescription orders and safety guidelines
• Assist with inventory management and restocking of medications
• Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records
• Provide immunizations where allowed by law

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a pharmacy technician training program
• Current certification as a pharmacy technician (where required by local state requirements)

Skills

• Attention to detail

• Knowledge of pharmacy procedures and regulations
