Pharmacy Technician

A Day in the Life

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will support our pharmacies, pharmacists, and communities. You will create an easy, friendly, and exciting pharmacy experience for your patients. You will also have the opportunity to promote and provide immunizations (where allowed by law).

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacists and other pharmacy staff in providing patient care
• Prepare medications according to prescriptions and safety guidelines
• Assist patients with filling prescriptions and answering medication-related questions
• Ensure accurate and timely distribution of medications
• Perform inventory checks and maintain records of medications
• Provide immunizations (where allowed by law)

Requirements

• Must have or be willing to obtain proper licenses (where required by local state requirements)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a pharmacy technician program or equivalent experience
• Ability to pass a background check
