Pharmacy Technician

A Day in the Life

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will support our pharmacies, pharmacists, and communities. You will create an easy, friendly, and exciting pharmacy experience for your patients. You will also have the opportunity to promote and provide immunizations (where allowed by law).

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacists and other pharmacy staff in providing quality patient care.
• Prepare medications according to prescription orders and safety guidelines.
• Assist patients with filling prescriptions and answering medication-related questions.
• Ensure accurate and timely distribution of medications to patients.
• Perform inventory checks and maintain records of medications.
• Participate in training programs offered by the company to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• Must have or be willing to obtain proper licenses (where required by local state requirements).
• Fast-paced environment experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and supervisors.
• Willingness to learn and grow through training and mentorship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a pharmacy technician program or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of pharmacy operations and regulations.
