Pharmacy Technician
Job Responsibilities
- Accurately process and enter prescriptions into the system
- Support pharmacists with safe, compliant dispensing practices
- Communicate with providers and insurance companies to resolve issues
- Manage patient adherence and medication delivery scheduling
- Verify insurance coverage and process claims
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate across teams to ensure efficient pharmacy operations
Requirements
- Active Illinois Certified Pharmacy Technician license (required)
- 3–5+ years of pharmacy experience (specialty, retail, PBM, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
- Comfortable communicating with patients, providers, and payors
- Solid computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, pharmacy systems)

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Lake Forest, IL.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.05 - $27.00/hr.
