Pharmacy Technician

Job Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter and process prescription and patient information into pharmacy systems
  • Maintain and update patient records while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for patients and healthcare providers, delivering exceptional service
  • Respond to inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism, empathy, and urgency
  • Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate and fulfill customer service requests
  • Monitor data accuracy and support quality improvement initiatives
  • Act as a resource and mentor for team members, sharing knowledge and best practices
  • Support ongoing projects and help improve processes and patient experience

Requirements

  • Active Illinois Pharmacy Technician License (required)
  • 2–4 years of experience in pharmacy, healthcare, or customer support
  • Proven experience with prescription processing and data entry systems
  • Strong customer service skills (call center experience needed)
  • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and compliance
  • Able to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
