Responsibilities
- Process and fill prescription orders accurately in preparation for pharmacist verification.
- Retrieve medications from stock, count, package, and label orders according to established procedures.
- Maintain drug inventory, including organizing stock and monitoring medication levels.
- Support the management of automated dispensing units by refilling and maintaining accurate inventory.
- Replenish workstation supplies for filling prescriptions, including vials, caps, labels, and related materials.
- Remove outdated or expired products from shelves and storage areas in accordance with pharmacy policies.
- Absorb and prepare medications for pharmacist verification.
- Avoid errors in medication counting, packaging, and labeling.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Requirements
- Active Washington State Pharmacy Technician License.
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT).
- Pharmacy technician certification meeting state and national standards.
- Pharmacy or prescription data entry experience with high attention to detail.
- Previous experience working in a mail order pharmacy setting.
- Ability to navigate and work efficiently within Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds as part of daily duties.
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours with intermittent breaks.

- Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and workstation supplies effectively.
- Ability to follow detailed procedures and pharmacy protocols consistently.
