About the role

St. Luke’s Health System is seeking motivated individuals eager to become Pharmacy Technicians through our PAID Apprenticeship Program. This is your opportunity to learn, grow, and develop in a hands-on, supportive environment—all while getting paid! Classes start every four weeks.

• Full-time, paid position—Get paid while you learn!
• Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
• 10-week intensive training program designed to set you up for success
• Hands-on experience in classroom, laboratory, and clinical environments
• Opportunity to become PTCB certified—St. Luke's covers the cost of the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) exam!
• Guaranteed promotion to a Pharmacy Technician role within St. Luke's Pharmacy Services upon successful completion

Responsibilities

• Learn on the job as you participate in all classroom, lab, and experiential training.
• Prepare and process medications—assist in compounding and preparing medication orders under the guidance of pharmacists and experienced technicians.
• Manage automated dispensing devices and medical dispensing technology.
• Order and receive medications—be an essential part of the supply chain for pharmacy operations.
• Utilize pharmacy technology to support safe and efficient processes.
• Maintain high standards in cleaning, logging, recalls, and monitoring medications.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
