About the role

Pharmacy Technicians are an integral part of the pharmacy team. Primary responsibilities include processing prescriptions, interacting with and assisting customers, inventory control, non-sterile and/or sterile compounding, care of supplies and equipment, management of automation systems, and other duties as assigned by the pharmacist and pharmacy leadership.

Requirements

• Education Qualifications: Pharmacy Technician- Ambulatory Care Level I (On The Job Training)
• Educational Requirements: MN location - previous experience or completion of approved training program
• Certification/Licensure Required: State registration, CPhT certification from PTCB or NHA within 2 years of hire
• Required Qualifications: Minimum 1040 hours of pharmacy technician experience, completion of Pharmacy Department's Orientation, and one of the Essentia Pharmacy Department training programs within 6 months of hire
• Experience: Minimum 2080 hours of pharmacy technician experience, Tier III qualifying work experience, completion of required certification or Pharmacy Department’s Training Program for Tier III requirements within 6 months of date of hire
• Union: DC USWA Hibbing (DCUHB)

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1040 hours of pharmacy technician experience
• Completion of Pharmacy Department's Orientation
• One of the Essentia Pharmacy Department training programs within 6 months of hire
• Minimum of 2080 hours of pharmacy technician experience
