About the role
The ATP Pharmacy Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and efficient dispensing of medications through automated machines. This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
Responsibilities
- Process correct bags through automated machines.
- Maintain a high level of quality assurance for medication dispensing.
- Stock received pharmacy inventory.
- Organize medication shelves and ensure work station cleanliness.
- Ensure station is properly stocked at all times.
- Monitor station queues and meet daily pharmacy goals for timely delivery to patients.
- Demonstrate superior written and verbal skills to communicate with internal counterparts to resolve patient issues.

- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma/GED is required.
- If no prior pharmacy experience, must commit to registering with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy and obtaining a pharmacy certification within one year of employment.
- Certified with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board and registered with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy is preferred.
- Must be 18+ years of age.

Physical/Mental Demands
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the pharmacy for extended periods of time.
- Frequent use of hands and fingers for handling medications, operating equipment, and using computer systems.
- Occasional lifting, carrying, or moving items up to 25 pounds.
- Visual acuity to read prescription labels, reports, and computer screens accurately.
- May require bending, reaching, and repetitive motions during production activities.
Schedule
This is a full-time position with an expectation to work an average of 40 hours per week and be available outside of normal business hours to meet customer expectations on an ad-hoc basis.
