About the role
The Harborview Medical Center Pharmacy Department is looking for an outstanding Pharmacy Technician 2 to join our Inpatient Pharmacy team!
Position Highlights
- Part-Time / 35 hours per week Night Shift - 7 on, 7 off
- Prepare and package medications
- Perform specialized, technical pharmaceutical functions such as unit dose medication checking, maintaining a specific area or function within the pharmacy, and act as a resource for medication distribution systems
- All tasks are performed under the general supervision of a registered pharmacist
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Perform all duties of a Pharmacy Technician I. Tech checker certified to check medications filled by other pharmacy technicians via PIMS.
- Perform pre-check of bulk to unit dose medications and CNR items.
- Aid in the development and implementation of workflow improvements.
- Proficiently perform all assigned vault procedures, processing, and documentation.
- Perform weekly controlled substance inventories in vault.
- Know and follow all IV room and HD/chemotherapy preparation policies and procedures including USP 797 and USP 800.
- Safe and timely preparation and delivery of intravenous HD/chemotherapy agents and non-HD preparations.
Required Position Qualifications
- Six months of experience as a Pharmacy Technician 1 OR equivalent education/experience

Pay Range Minimum: $30.31 hourly
Pay Range Maximum $47.49 hourly
