Pharmacy Technician II
Job Summary
As a Pharmacy Technician II, you will be responsible for accurately performing all advanced and basic pharmacy technician functions in a timely manner. This role may also involve duties associated with Automated Dispensing Cabinets and other specialized tasks as assigned by the pharmacy management team.
Qualifications

- Associate Degree
What You Will Do
- Maintain medication storage and security
- Interact with hospital personnel both in person and by phone
- Accurately package and prepare medications for dispensing
- Transport medications and supplies to various areas of the hospital
- Perform daily Automated Dispensing Cabinet routines as assigned
- Help manage drug supplies in a cost-effective manner and identify opportunities to minimize waste
- Help mentor new technicians and assist the Pharmacy Director with special projects as needed
