About the role
Emplify Health by Gundersen, is seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE) Pharmacy Technician for our Village Shopping Center Pharmacy location in La Crosse.
Responsibilities
- Enjoy flexible scheduling options for day and evening shifts with rotating weekends
- Enter prescription data, calculate dispensing quantities, prepare medication labels and fill prescriptions
- Compound non-sterile products and manage inventory needs
- Prepare prescriptions for delivery or shipment
- Answer the telephone and respond to patient inquiries
- Aid with staffing at other Gundersen pharmacy locations as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program or at least one year of pharmacy technician experience
- Registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the state of WI
- Nationally-recognized certification for pharmacy technician credential (CPht or ExCPT) or willingness to become certified within 6 months of hire
