Pharmacy Tech IV

About the role

Presbyterian is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Pharmacy Tech to join our team. Under the supervision of a pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician will support pharmacy operations and ensure excellent service to our patients.

Responsibilities

• Functions as Lead Technician in assigned area of work.
• Actively participates in the Quality Process, including improvement initiatives.
• Actively participates in policy, procedure, and standard work development.
• Supports leadership to drive Employee and Customer Engagement.
• Prepares sterile hazardous medications (e.g., Oncology) or operates in a lead administrative technician position within the department.
• Responsible for adherence to the Department Compliance Plan for Controlled Substances.
• Fills medication orders, pre-packages, compounds pharmaceuticals, refills stock supplies, delivers medication, and performs various clerical duties as required.
• Performs other functions as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB or NHA).
• At least two years of experience in pharmacy.
• Completion of Crucial Conversations, Appreciative Coaching, and Influencer training for Lead Technicians and Lead Administrative Technician (required for lead roles).
• Successful completion of PHS Sterile Products Compounding Competency and Hazardous Medication Training for all employees preparing sterile, hazardous medications.

Pay

Pay Range Minimum Offer: $18.33 per hour
Maximum Offer: $30.24 per hour
