Pharmacy Tech - Inpatient, 7on/7off Nights

About the role

Assists Pharmacist in filling, compounding, and dispensing physician orders. Performs various technical duties involved with the handling, packaging, and delivery of pharmaceuticals.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates proficiency to practice in two (2) or more specific pharmacy function areas (production/distribution, oncology, inventory management, narcotics, nursery, surgery, compounding and home care/outpatient).
• Provides patient care services to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Requirements

• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Georgia.
• One (1) year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.

Qualifications

• PREFERRED: Certified Pharmacy Technician through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA).

Skills

• Proficiency in multiple pharmacy function areas.
• Experience in patient care services.
