Pharmacy Supervisor
PromptCare Pharmacy Supervisor
The Pharmacy Supervisor oversees daily operations, provides supervision, and ensures compliance with pharmacy services. The role includes serving as Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) and participating in a rotating on-call and weekend schedule.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise, coach, and support pharmacists and pharmacy technicians
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations including workflow, dispensing, and verification
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards
- Serve as a resource for clinical and operational questions
- Assist with staffing and scheduling
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training
- Conduct performance evaluations and coaching
- Support quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
- Aid in inventory control and purchasing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for patient care
- Support audit readiness and inspections
- Aid in reporting and operational metrics
- Serve as PIC when designated
- Participate in on-call rotation
- Perform other duties as assigned
