Maintaining Inventory
- Affirms par levels, stocks shelves, orders supplies, and alerts buyers to stock shortages.
- Makes and delivers products to ensure timely arrival at the unit.
- Replenishes drugs used during surgery and code blue carts, and completes charge sheets for patients.
Other Duties
- Performs tasks requested by pharmacists or pharmacy leadership.
- Answers the phone promptly and courteously, using experience and prioritization skills to forward calls appropriately.
- Restocks boxes, kits, trays, and code cart trays.
- Completes deliveries and refills functions quickly to minimize time out of the department.
- Assesses par levels and notifies department leadership and the pharmacy buyer of chronic stock-out situations.
Qualifications
- High School Grad or Equiv
- Currently enrolled in a College of Pharmacy
- Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT)
- Pharmacy Intern (PSI)
- NHA Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
- PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
