Pharmacy Student Intern

Responsibilities
- Concentrate on patient counseling, customer service, over the counter medications, immunizations, and vaccinations.
- Perform all duties under the supervision of a registered pharmacist or designated pharmacist preceptor.
- Take all necessary steps to fill prescriptions in compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies and procedures.
- Offer advice and consultation to customers and healthcare professionals regarding prescription knowledge, drug therapy, and health-related products and concerns.
- Implement company initiatives to enhance pharmacy profitability.
- Participate actively in clinical services.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Currently enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited school of pharmacy.
- Hold a valid state intern license if required by the state of employment.
- Ability to adapt to changes in schedule specifications and work priorities as needed.
- Ability to cooperate with others and work as part of a team.
