About the role
Pharmacy Student Technicians provide technical support to the drug distribution activities of the Department of Pharmacy Services.
Responsibilities
- Must be enrolled in MUSC College of Pharmacy and hold Student Intern Certificate.
- Perform job functions while standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs, climbing ladders, working indoors, outdoors in all weather and temperature extremes, working from elevated areas, working in confined/cramped spaces, bending at the waist, twisting at the waist, squatting, performing "pinching" operations, crawling, reaching in all directions, using both hands/arms, performing repetitive motions with hands/wrists/elbows and shoulders, using automated mixing equipment, pushing/pulling objects, lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs., lifting from 36 inches overhead, pushing/pulling objects to 50 lbs., maintaining 20/40 vision, matching/discriminating between colors, determining distance/relationship between objects, maintaining tactile sensory functions, maintaining olfactory sensory function, being qualified physically for respirator use, and working overtime as required.
- Work in a latex-safe environment.
