Job Summary The Pharmacy Manager is responsible for the overall operation, clinical services, and financial performance of the pharmacy. This role ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures. The Pharmacy Manager leads and develops a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to provide exceptional patient care and optimize pharmacy services. Oversee all aspects of pharmacy operations, including dispensing, inventory management, and patient counseling. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. Manage and develop pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and technicians. Optimize pharmacy workflow and processes to improve efficiency and patient safety. Monitor and improve pharmacy financial performance. Supervise the dispensing of medications, ensuring accuracy and safety. Counsel patients on medication use, potential side effects, and drug interactions. Manage inventory levels and ordering processes to minimize waste and ensure adequate supply. Implement and maintain quality assurance programs to monitor and improve pharmacy services. Recruit, train, and evaluate pharmacy staff. What qualifications you will need: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a pharmacist. Previous experience in a pharmacy management or supervisory role preferred. Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
