About the role

Join Walmart as a Pharmacy Manager and lead a team of pharmacists and pharmacy staff to deliver comprehensive patient care and improve community health. This role focuses on both pharmacy operations and community outreach, ensuring high standards of service and patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive patient care by processing and dispensing prescription orders, administering immunizations, and managing other pharmacy programs in compliance with Board of Pharmacy statutes and regulations.
  • Ensure effective merchandise presentation, accurate pricing, proper signing, and inventory management within the pharmacy.
  • Model, enforce, and guide proper customer service techniques to resolve customer needs within company guidelines.
  • Oversee and participate in community outreach programs, encouraging associates to engage as active community members.
  • Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations by analyzing reports, implementing loss prevention and safety controls, and overseeing safety and quality assurance reviews.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in working with patients and healthcare providers effectively.
  • Expertise in analyzing data to enhance pharmacy performance and patient outcomes.
  • Competence in analyzing financial data to make informed business decisions.
  • Capability to manage a pharmacy, including overseeing staff and operations.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, or equivalent FPGEC (NABP).
  • Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
  • Completion of an ACPE accredited immunization training program (e.g., APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).

Preferred Qualifications

  • U.S. pharmacy-related experience.

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is $112,000.00 - $197,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) adjustments and Complex Structure pay may apply based on location and external challenges.
